Flag Day 2010
The Singapore Red Cross (SRC) will hold its annual fundraising event Flag Day 2010 on 27 February. Under the theme Together for Humanity, SRC aims to raise S$200,000 through internal collections, street collections and walk-in or cheque donations.
The amount raised will go to SRC’s local humanitarian work, which include:
- subsidising costs incurred by needy patients or the elderly who require the Red Cross Non-Emergency Ambulance Service to ferry them to and from their medical appointments
