As we commemorate the founding of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement on World Red Cross Day tomorrow, we would like to thank you for your unstinting contribution in aid of the vulnerable, and honour your service to humanity.

Pledge for Humanity
We are pleased to launch ‘Pledge for Humanity”’ - a fundraising campaign to raise $300,000 for our local humanitarian services – the Non-Emergency Ambulance Service, Red Cross Home for the Disabled, First Aid Coverage at national and community events and youth development and training programme. Join us to commemorate Word Red Cross Day by making a donation or by organising a pledge card drive from 8 May 2010 to 8 August 2010.
To donate - Please issue a cheque to ‘Singapore Red Cross Society,’ indicate your full name, NRIC no., contact details and ‘Pledge for Humanity’ at the back, and post it to Red Cross House, 15 Penang Lane, Singapore 238486 (Attention: Jordan Soh). You can also make an outright cash donation towards Pledge for Humanity at the same address, between 9.30am to 5.30pm.

Doreen Tan
Recounting her experience with survivors of overseas disasters. Volunteer since 1995, Doreen has been involved in relief missions to Central Java, Kupang, Gujarat, Meulaboh and Jogja.
