Red Cross Training Centre

The Singapore Red Cross believes that teaching basic first-aid skills to individuals and communities is the right way to protect them, for when faced with a road accident or a heart attack, the ability to act quickly and appropriately is crucial.

Recognising the importance of making first aid available to all, and not only to those who can afford it, the Red Cross Training Centre (RCTC) subsidises first aid and CPR training to the public, charging only a nominal fee, for the benefit of the community.

The training centre conducts Standard First Aid, Refresher First Aid, Occupational First Aid, Refresher Occupational First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) courses. These are conducted by fully certified and experienced full-time staff and volunteer professionals. Besides conducting courses in our premises, the RCTC instructors also reaches out to the community, conducting courses at the workplace, schools, community clubs and recreation clubs.

We continuously strives to improve its standards in order to impart the best first aid knowledge to the community. Its courses are regularly reviewed and customised to meet the changing needs of the community. Instructors are professionally trained in the areas of first aid and teaching.
