Executive, HR & Admin

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the full spectrum of HR functions including staff recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, staff training and development, employee relations, leave administration, staff welfare and recreational activities, insurance acquisitions and claims etc.
  • Prepare various Management and Manpower Reports
  • Provide administrative support to the HR & Administration Division
  • Execute HR initiatives projects  
  • Organise staff events
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree in HR Management or its equivalent
  • At least 2 years HR experience include having a hands on experience in Prosoft System will be an advantage
  • A team-player who is able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with good administration and processing skills
  • An understanding of the importance of timely information and reporting without compromising quality
  • Good planning skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A flexible and pragmatic approach to supporting the wider operational environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and other basic desktop applications (i.e. MS Outlook, Exchange, internet tools, etc.)

Executive/ Senior Executive (Fund Raising & Volunteer Development)


Responsibilities:

•    Identify, source and cultivate new partnerships in fund raising
•    Plan, organise, monitor and co-ordinate the successful implementation fundraising  events and resource development activities of the SRCS
•    Develop innovative and creative avenues for fund raising with high visibility and maximum revenue
•    Encourage and assist companies, service clubs and other organisations to organise third party events
•    Assist in the development and co-ordination of publicity and public relations for fund raising events and other revenue generating activities
•    Schedule, co-ordinate and take minutes and be responsible for the follow-up actions of the meetings
•    Liaise with government, companies, voluntary welfare organisations, community organisations etc
•    Maintain donor database and donor relations
•    Assist in volunteer management activities
•    Undertake any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

•    Possess a recognised university degree in Business, Marketing, Arts and Social Sciences or related disciplines with minimum 3 years of sales and marketing
•    Experience in fund raising, online donation/ e-payment channels and event organising would be an advantage
•    Possess an extensive network of contacts
•    Able to demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills
•    Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with good command of English and able to communicate effectively in Mandarin
•    Good presentation and report writing skills
•    Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to people of all levels

Administrative Assistant (Volunteer Development)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide secretarial services and administrative support to the division
  • Assist in the co-ordination and implementation of service, projects and activities of the division
  • Assist in the co-ordination and liaison with other Divisions on volunteer needs and avenues for involvement by the public
  • Assist in the co-ordination and implementation of programmes/ projects which include putting forward quotations, booking of halls and equipment, and other assigned duties under the programmes/ projects
  • Assist in the co-ordination of talks and programmes related to volunteer involvement
  • Assist in developing brochures, pamphlets, announcements, invitations, etc for the programmes, events, etc organised by the Division
  • Prepare reports, proposals, materials, etc as assigned and required
  • Set-up and maintain a centralised filing system
  • Arrange meetings and take minutes (as requested)
  • Maintain database on volunteers and membership of Singapore Red Cross
  • Interview and deploy volunteers to meaningful and appropriate volunteer service avenues
  • Attend to public enquiries pertaining to volunteerism
  • On a rotational basis (about twice a month), you are required to relief the duties of the front desk receptionist during lunch hours and your working Saturdays
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • GCE 'O' / 'A' or Diploma
  • Experience in volunteer recruitment and management would be an added advantage
  • Good communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to people of all levels
  • Good planning and co-ordination skills
  • Independent as well as a good team player
  • Computer literate and well-versed in MS Excel and Access
  • Ability to speak a few languages or dialects would be an added advantage

Admin Co-ordinator (Red Cross Training Centre)

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and co-ordinate training courses and ensure the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the administration of Red Cross Training Centre 
  • Attend to enquiries on Red Cross Training Centre courses
  • Perform course registration, send confirmation letters, collect course fees payment, issue receipts & invoices
  • Coordinate with Instructor/Examiner on course logistics (SDF, training materials, signages, classroom layout, training aids & examination)
  • Record and maintain database of participants’ particulars
  • Send reminders to participants due to attend Refresher courses
  • Summarise and collate course evaluation forms
  • Issue course certificates to successful participants as well as monitor the collection of course certificates
  • Provide support to the Training Administrator and Manager and undertake any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • GCE 'O' / 'A' or Diploma
  • Minimum 1 year experience in training coordination and administration
  • Basic accounting knowledge would be an added advantage

Staff Nurse (Red Cross Home for the Disabled)

Responsibilities:

•    Provide assessment and care planning
•    Manage clinical emergencies, safe medication administration, infection control and integrative care
•    Supervise nursing aides and healthcare aides
•    Undertake any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

•    5-10 years of relevant working experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
•    Experience in working with the disabled or the elderly preferred
•    Ability to work in a cooperative manner with other staff members in the coordination of resident/client care
•    Ability to act as a coordinator of care for complex residents, sharing nursing expertise and demonstrating leadership while working in collaboration with other care providers

Nurse Educator (Red Cross Home for the Disabled)

Responsibilities:

• Identify learning gaps and training needs of staff
• Formulate training plans and schedules
• Coordinate/organise training activities to strengthen clinical practices
• Carry out on-the-job training (OJT) and classroom lectures
• Ensure care delivery of residents is carried out according to established standards of care and practice
• Assist to appraise and evaluate performance of staff on delivery of care
• Ensure new staff receive orientation and training
• Formulate training plans for community training (staff / volunteers / carers)
• Documentation of plans, progress and review
• Carry out remedial action as deemed necessary in collaboration with the Administrator

• Undertake any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Nursing or Masters in Nursing Education
• Minimum of 3 years recent clinical related experience
• Experience in clinically based nursing education
• Experience in clinical programme development
• Demonstrate ability to work in a collaborative practice model with a multidisciplinary team
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to people of all levels
• Able to demonstrate strong management, leadership and motivational skills
• Independent as well as a good team player
