How to donate?
Donations to the Red Cross can be made only at the locations or through the means listed below:
1) Cheque donations:
Please address the cheque
to "Singapore Red Cross Society" and indicate behind the cheque "Tidal Waves Asia". Include name, address and telephone number at the back of the cheque as a receipt will be sent to you.
  Post the Cheque to:
Singapore Red Cross, Red Cross House, 15 Penang Lane, Singapore 238486
2) Cash/Cheque @ the Red Cross House
Donors may wish to come personally to make a donation (either by cash or by cheque) at the Red Cross House, 15 Penang Lane  between 9.00am to 5.30pm from Mondays to Fridays.
3) ATM / Internet Banking
Donors may also make on-line donation at DBS website @ https://internet-banking.dbs.com.sg/ or at any POSB/DBS ATM machines. (Please refer to Annex for instructions).
Under the "Consumer Reference Number", please include your contact number.
4) Credit Card Donations
For Citibank Customers – please call Citibank’s Red Cross Donation Hotline at 65-6328 7777 for credit card donations, from 9am to 5pm from Mondays to Fridays and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. Alternatively, you can make an online donation via the electronic cheque service if you have a Citibank Ready Credit or Maxisave account. Please visit http://www.citibank.com.sg for more information.

For Maybank customers - you can pledge your donations through Maybank ATMs in Singapore and Internet Banking facility at http://www.maybank2u.com.sg.

For OCBC customers – donations can be made via ATM, Internet Banking, PhoneBanking, cheque deposit at branches or credit card payment (Hotline: 1800-363 3333). For more details, visit http://www.ocbc.com.sg.

For UOB Customers – you can donate via the UOB Personal Internet Banking or UOB Phone Banking. For more information, please go to http://www.uob.com.sg.

5) AXS Stations
Donors can now visit any of the available petrol stations and retail outlets with the AXS Stations to make their donation. Donations can be made either through NETS or CASHCARD.
6) Cash/Cheque at all Caltex service stations in Singapore
Donors can contribute via the Red Cross collection tins at all Caltex cashier counters. Location maps and addresses of all Caltex service stations are available at http://www.caltex.com.sg/about/locations.asp.
7) Internet Banking
You can also make donations at the Online Donation Portal administered by the National Council of Social Service. Log on to www.donation.org.sg and click on the “Donate to the Singapore Red Cross Society – Tidal Waves Asia Fund”. Donations can be made using your Visa, Mastercard and Economic Restructuring Shares.
8) Cash/Cheque at all Caltex service stations in Singapore
Donors can contribute via the Red Cross collection tins at all Caltex cashier counters. Location maps and addresses of all Caltex service stations are available at http://www.caltex.com.sg/about/locations.asp.

  - For a $50 donation, call 1900 112 1227 or *1227

SMS
For M1 users, please type 'donate' and send it to '8880' to make a $10 donation.
For Starhub users – please type ‘DONATE’ and send to 7111 to make a $10 donation.
11) Drop-Off of Cheque Donations at Any Postbox
For the public’s convenience, cheque donations can be dropped into any of the more than 850 SingPost postboxes located all over Singapore.
Please address the cheque payable to " Singapore Red Cross Society" and indicate behind the cheque "Tidal Waves Asia". Include name, address and telephone number and insert cheque in envelopes marked"‘Singapore Red Cross Society-Tidal Waves Asia" and drop envelopes into any postbox.

SingPost will absorb the postage fees for mailing of cheque donations to Singapore Red Cross for one month until 31 January 2005.

In addition, cash donations can be placed into official Red Cross tins which have been placed in many locations. These tins are serially numbered and bear the Singapore Red Cross stamp. They are carefully accounted for by Singapore Red Cross.
*Please note that as the donations are for a "foreign charitable purpose", they are not tax deductible even though they are made to an approved institution of a public character (IPC).

  ANNEX
  Step-By-Step Guide for Donations to the Red Cross Tidal Waves Asia fund
A. DBS iBanking
 
1. Login to DBS iBanking
2. Click on "Payment Services"
3. Click on "Bill Payment"
4. Select " Red Cross Tidal Waves Asia" from the billing corporation list
5. Select the deposit account to debit donation
6. Enter telephone number as the Consumer Reference Number
7. Enter the donation amount
   
B. DBS/POSB ATM
 
1. Insert your ATM card and select "English"
2. Enter PIN when prompted
3. Select "iBanking, Cashcard and More Services"
4. Select "Credit Card/Bill Payment"
5. Select " Red Cross Tidal Waves Asia" from the billing corporation list
6. Enter telephone number as the Bill Reference Number
7. Select account type (eg. Autosave, Current or Savings Account)
8. Enter donation amount
9. Select account to debit donation if you have multiple accounts
10. At the confirmation Screen, press "Confirm" to complete transaction
