We are organising our Flag Day on Wednesday, 7 September 2011 to raise funds for our local humanitarian efforts.
All proceeds will go towards:
- enhancing the lives of severely disabled residents at the Red Cross Home for the Disabled
- subsidising transportation for the elderly and disadvantaged via the Red Cross Non-Emergency Ambulance Service
- training volunteers to be first aid trained and disaster ready to help in times of emergencies and at community and national events
- providing public education on first aid and
- youth development and leadership training for Red Cross Youth cadets and members
