Donors to the Singapore Red Cross can now give on-the-go, at 96 iNETS Kiosks islandwide. These are located at MRT stations, bus interchanges, petrol stations and shopping malls.
“We rely on public donations and goodwill to run our local and international humanitarian services, so we are constantly looking at ways to make giving convenient for our donors. With the partnership with iNets, our supporters who do not have credit cards, cheque books and internet access can donate with a touch of a button in their neighbourhood,” said Mr Benjamin William, Secretary General of the Singapore Red Cross.
Said Ms Cynthia Liaw, General Manager, Consumer Services, NETS, “We are delighted to partner with Red Cross in offering donors a new and convenient way to support their favourite charity. As more people start to make donations while paying their bills, we hope that this will cultivate a positive habit of giving to charity."
The partnership with iNETS adds to Singapore Red Cross’ suite of donation platforms, comprising cash/cheque, GIRO deductions, PayPal, SGGives and AXS stations. All donations to SRC are tax-deductible, except for donations for foreign aid.
