18 May 2008 was a perfect day to brave the heat and the throngs of people at the hugely popular Shop@REDCROSS+ Bazaar. With a newly created “boutique” and “toy shop” adding to the already exciting and huge array of items available, the day was filled with plenty of happy chatter and fantastic buys!
Present to ensure that the shopping experience was very enjoyable, were the lady volunteers who started the Shop.
Said Ms Tina, a regular patron of the Shop “Shop@REDCROSS+ [provides] an avenue where practical people hunt for interesting and useful items... the new boutique and toy sections are set to make that even easier"
She further added with a smile, “The two new sections have provided me with beautiful clothes and toys for my little kids in a comfortable and cooling environment, with the assurance they are both sustainable and help Singapore Red Cross to tackle poverty and help the needy”.
